| Description | : | a rare and unusually large instrument with a 16-1/2 inch lower bout that is 5 inches deep. This is a very early 12 string that is better than any Stellas we have seen. The guitar has a few repaired side cracks and a very small repaired back crack. It plays perfectly and the neck will never warp because it is the biggest piece of lumber used for a guitar neck that we have ever seen. The spruce top is finely grained and very amber colored with herringbone trim. It has a large, original pin bridge. It sounds like two guitar, a harp and a zither all in one. |
