The Bass version of the famed Albert Lee - we are excited to have this Music Man "Big Al" 4 string from 2009! Constructed with an African Mahogany body in a nice vintage white sparkle finish, it is outfitted with 3 single coil pickups in a cool familiar Strat-y configuration. Sonically this bass is what you'd expect from the Fender history of Music Man - offering up lots of different tonal variations all at a button push away. A fast and comfortable neck, with a standard 34" scale length, and 18mm string spacing - this might become the "Go-To" in anyones collection!
The knobs in order are for Master Volume, Master Tone (Passive) and 4 Band EQ in conjunction with the active preamp. Each Buttons engages its corresponding pickup - when two or all three are engaged, the pickups are in parallel wiring. The final of the four buttons engages/disengages the active, 4 band EQ. This bass can easily be run in active or passive. Note, when all buttons out this will default to the Bridge & Middle pickups in series (a very nice tone).
Although used, this bass comes to us in fantastic shape, having been played very little from its original owner. A straight neck with clean frets, it plays easy in every position, and is ready for its next gig.
Weighs 9.5lbs. Comes with the original hardshell case.
